Come and learn more about our latest residents. Did you know that meerkats are a type of mongoose? Or that a group of meerkats (usually five to thirty members) is called a “mob” or a “gang”? 

We have eight males in our enclosure and you can keep an eye on what they're up to with our live webcam here.

Meet the keeper!

Each weekend and every day during the school holidays at 11:30am you have the chance to meet our zoo keepers, and get even closer to some of our animals. You can learn about an animal’s lifecycle, diet, native habitat and will have the chance to ask as many questions as you like.
