Get involved in advisory groups

Lancaster City Council is looking for people with a passion for the district to join us in our advisory groups and voice their views on some of the most significant opportunities and challenges facing us.

The advisory groups are part of a broader strategy focused on strengthening the voice of residents in the deliberations of the council and looking for ways to mobilise the skills and knowledge of residents and organisations across the district to support the district.

On 11 July 2023 Cabinet considered the various Cabinet Advisory Groups that were established 6 August 2019 in the previous administration. Cabinet proposed to continue with a number of Advisory Groups, merge some and to establish new groups. View the Cabinet Advisory Groups report, which includes terms of reference for each Advisory Group .
