Fraud and corruption
Introduction
Lancaster City Council is committed to the highest possible standards of openness, probity and accountability in relation to preventing, reporting and managing fraud or misconduct.
Our approach to preventing and tackling fraud and corruption is outlined below and in the policy documents available on this page.
- Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy (Non Benefit) - this policy outlines the principles the council is committed to in relation to preventing, reporting and manageing fraud and corruption.
- Raising Concerns Policy (formerly 'Whistleblowing' Policy) - this policy is intended to encourage and enable employees to raise serious concerns within the council rather than overlooking a problem or blowing the whistle outside.
