The King's Own Royal Regiment Museum Trust is a registered charity, number 272109. The Trustees own the King’s Own collection and work in partnership with Lancaster City Museums, who run the museum and care for the collections. Our work in preserving part of Britain's military heritage is only made possible by the generous support of Lancaster City Council and many members of the public. The museum currently receives no revenue funding from the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, the Army or the Ministry of Defence.

We hope to make online donations possible in the near future. Meanwhile, there are several other ways to make a donation:
- By credit/debit card over the phone. Please email kingsown@lancaster.gov.uk and include your phone number in the message so that we can contact you to arrange this. Please DO NOT put your card details in the email.
- By credit/debit card at the museum. Please let the front desk staff at Lancaster City Museum know that you would like to make a donation to the King's Own and they will be happy to help.
- In cash at the museum. Use the donation box inside the King's Own gallery, or ask at the front desk as above.
- By cheque in the post. Please include a note marking your cheque as a donation, make it payable to the 'King’s Own Royal Regiment Museum Trust', and post it to: King's Own Royal Regiment Museum, c/o City Museum, Market Square, Lancaster, LA1 1HT. Please only send cheques by post; DO NOT post us your credit/debit card details or any cash.
Please Note: A small percentage of any donations made by credit/debit card will be taken in bank charges.
