Here at Lancaster City Council Community Hub, we pride ourselves on our flexibility of being able to go out into the community and offer advice and support to our residents.
By offering a face-to-face service, incluiding the option for video appointments, we aim to reach out to communities across the district and be accessible for those who need us most.
We can assist with enquiries regarding council services, and signpost to relevant departments and other community and organisational support.

We are present for face-to-face enquiries at Morecambe Town Hall and Lancaster Town Hall, Monday to Friday 9am-1pm (Excluding Bank Holidays).

Video appointments
Chat to us face-to-face wherever you are
Appointments can be made for two days from the date they are booked to allow for the meeting to be arranged. If you need to speak to us sooner, please contact us.
We are now offering video call appointments to meet your needs. Simply complete the short request form and we will match your query to an appropriate member of our team.
Appointment slots can be as long as you need. We will check your identity on the call before discussing your personal information, just as we would in person or over the phone.
Please be advised that by filling in the appointment booking form that you consent to the council contacting you by video. The session may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
We will send you an appointment invitation by email with simple joining instructions.
We use Microsoft Teams for these calls and you can easily join on any internet capable device.
- If you are using a PC or laptop, you will have the option of downloading the Teams app or join using web browser instead (Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are suitable).
- If you are using a mobile device, you will need to download the Microsoft Teams mobile app from your app store
