Bay Cycle Way
March 2019 Coastal Communities Fund grant of £2.35M to South Lakeland District Council and Morecambe Bay Partnership will deliver a range of projects with the refurbishment of Grange Lido the being the principal project.
The Experience Morecambe Bay project aims to establish the Bay as a centre for walking and cycling, build on existing routes, develop new long-distance cycling and walking routes, and develop active, low carbon ways to explore the whole of the Bay area. This element of the project has great potential for the Promenade to Port Coastal Communities Team area.
