So, it’s been 6 years since we undertook our £5M re-development of Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, and so 5 years since our then 

newly refurbished Gym and Training Zone opened. 

Although the facilities still serve us well, we felt it was time for a refresh and so we are investing in you, and providing you with two new areas to train in. 

As well as a brand new look and feel to these areas, we’ll be introducing a full suite of state of the art Matrix kit leading us to becoming one of their flagship sites in the UK.
 

Closure Dates
A project of this scale will inevitably cause unavoidable disruption to service, and we are working with our suppliers to ensure the work is carried out as quickly as possible. 

To account for removal of all existing kit, fixtures and fittings; installation of new kit, fixtures and fittings, and staff training, the Gym and Training Zone will be closed from Friday 12th August, re-opening the week beginning 5th September. 

Impact on Memberships
We acknowledge that the temporary closure will have a direct impact upon our Members as you will not be able to access the Gym and Training Zone during this time. Due to this, we would like to offer Full, 60+ and Corporate Direct Debit Members a 50% reduction in Membership costs on payments being made on 15th August and 1st September. 
Full and 60+ Annual Members will have their contracts extended by a further
2 weeks.
