Vulnerable People Classes
These classes are aimed at those who have been shielding or are classed as vulnerable throughout the pandemic, and may be keen but reluctant to return to exercise.
All classes are a gentler form of exercise, are socially distanced and with reduced numbers. They are led by our dedicated team of professional instructors who understand your concerns and will work with you to make sure you have an enjoyable and safe experience during your class.
All classes are £3 per person and are available to members of our community aged 16 years +. Pre-booking is essential via the links below.
Boost Fit
Boost Fit is a superfunctional tri-plex total body workout designed for those who have never used multi functional training equipment. Suitable for 16 years+. This class will take place in the Sports Hall.
Gentle Circuits
A selection of popular cardio and weight training exercises brought together to form a circuit, ideal for beginners or those with underlying health problems. A great way to improve your fitness, strength and toning. Suitable for 16 years+. This class will take place in the Sports Hall.
Strength & Mobility
Focusing on a range of techniques and drills to build strength in core muscle groups which will aid mobility. Suitable for 16 years+. This class will take place in the Sports Hall.
Stretch & Relax
A low impact full body conditioning class, including weight resistance and stretch exercises. Suitable for 16 years+. This class will take place in the Studio.
Supple Exercise
is a blend of simple exercises using your own bodyweight We focus on posture, core stability and body alignment to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Options are given throughout to ensure that this class is suitable for all levels. Suitable for 16 years +. This class will take place in The Hub.
Tai Chi
An ancient Chinese exercise that uses gentle flowing movements to reduce stress, increase stamina and strengthen body and mind. Suitable for 16 years+. This class will take place in The Hub.
Zumba Gold
This lower intensity variation of the popular dance-based workout fuses Latin and international rhythms with an exciting workout. A great way to burn calories, tone your body and have fun. Suitable for 16 years+. This class will take place in the Sports Hall.
