Poll cards are on their way

Voters should be on the lookout for their poll cards for May’s Lancashire County Council elections.

They are being sent to every registered voter between March 24 and April 3 with information on where their polling station is and some key information about the elections.

If you don’t receive a poll card there’s no need to worry – you won’t need it to vote, but you may need to check if you’re registered to vote.

Those who voted in last year’s EU Referendum and whose circumstances haven’t changed since should be eligible to vote, but you can check by calling 01524 582905.

People who have applied to vote by postal ballot will receive a card reminding them that they will be voting by post.

Anyone who is not registered to vote has until April 13 to make an application. The deadline to register for a postal vote is 5pm on April 18.

You can find more information on this year’s elections on our elections pages.
