If you're experiencing problems with animals in your neighbourhood, here's what you can do:
1. Dangerous Dogs
If you feel threatened by a dog:
· Contact the police immediately
· After speaking to the police, report the incident to us:
o Call our dedicated line
o Email our community safety team
o Use our online Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) reporting form
2. Noisy Animals
We encourage tolerance and understanding when it comes to animal noises. However, persistent noise can become a nuisance. Here's how to handle it:
· First, try talking to your neighbour. They may not realise their pet is causing a disturbance
· If the noise continues for over 30 minutes daily for at least 5 days in a week, and talking hasn't helped, report it to us
3. Animal Welfare Concerns
If you're worried about an animal's welfare, contact the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) by clikcing here.
