You can complete a housing application form online through our website. 

Once you have created an account for yourself and logged in there will be a link called ‘my social housing’ and clicking on this link will provide you with the application form you need to complete and once completed we can then advise you of what documents you need to provide for your housing application form to be assessed.  

There is internet access available at Morecambe and Lancaster Town Halls where you can register an account for yourself on the Ideal Choice Homes website and complete a housing application form. Local libraries also provide internet access for the public to use. 

If you do not have access to the internet or are unable to access the internet through public access points, you can contact us on 01524 582005 and a telephone appointment can be made to help you complete the application form over the phone. 

Yes, you can make a housing application form on the Ideal Choice Homes website. Applicants aged 16 and over are eligible to apply but you will still need to meet our local connection criteria set out in the Allocations Policy.  

Whilst under the age of 18 you cannot legally hold a tenancy agreement, if you are successful with bidding on a property you will be granted a licence to occupy the property until you turn 18 years old.
