Before making an appeal, you should contact the Food Safety Inspector that undertook the Inspection to understand why the rating was given

You have 21 days (including weekends and bank holidays) from the date of receiving your rating to make an appeal.

Please note: any discussions you have do not change the deadline within which the appeal must be made.

After speaking to the food safety officer, if you still feel the rating is unfair or wrong, you can make an appeal by completing the FHRS: Appeal Form

Once you have submitted your form, we will review your rating and contact you to let you know the outcome of your appeal within 21 days.
