Pest Awareness Training

With our experience of working within both food and non-food industries, we recognise the benefits of you and your employees being able to spot pest issues and nip them in the bud. This minimises the impact any necessary treatment will have on your business and enables you to be informed about the potential risks that pests pose. For those who know what to look for, it becomes much easier to prevent a pest infestation from getting out of hand.
We offer bespoke training courses and are happy to meet with you to discuss your needs and design a course that best meets them. The training can include:

Bird Proofing and Control
Pigeons, seagulls and other birds damage property and create health hazards. They are a nuisance and their guano is both unsightly and a slip hazard, as well as spreading pathogens such as salmonella and E. coli. Large birds such as gulls can be noisy and very aggressive, particularly when they have young.
Unbugged provides professional bird proofing, guano clearance and bird control services to domestic and commercial customers across the north west. Our technicians have the skills and capability to tackle all kinds of bird issues using methods including pigeon spiking and netting and egg replacement programmes to disrupt gull breeding. Treatments include:
- Netting and spiking - keeping birds off your structures
- Gull egg replacement - eggs are replaced with synthetic eggs which the birds still sit on but of course never hatch
- Guano clearance - removal, cleaning and sanitising of your property
- Solar panel proofing - keeping birds out without interfering with the operation of solar installations
