Assisted collections

Our assisted bin collection service is designed to support residents who are unable to move their bins and boxes to the kerbside.

This support can be provided on a temporary or long-term basis, depending on your circumstances - such as mobility or medical issues.

To be eligible, there must not be a family member, carer or anyone living at your property who can present your bin for collection and or return it to the property.

If your application is successful, you will be added to our assisted collection schedule. Our crews will then collect and empty your bins directly from your property.

This service will be reviewed periodically to ensure you still meet the eligibility criteria and require continued support.

To apply for an assisted collection, the quickest way to do so is to complete the Assisted Bin Collections Form, which will be sent directly to the waste team. You can also contact customer services and leave your details for a member of the waste team to contact you, by calling: 01524 582491.
