Our licensing responsibilities and policies

We issue a wide range of licences and permits in the district:

Alcohol and Entertainment - issuing and managing licences in respect of all premises that provide facilities for the supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment and the provision of late night refreshment
Taxi and Private Hire - licensing all Hackney and Private Hire vehicles and drivers in the area
Gambling - licensing premises for gambling, granting permits for gaming machines in clubs and institutes, regulating gaming machines in pubs and clubs and registering lotteries
Other licences and permits - from charitable collections to animal welfare and from acupuncture to motor salvage. See all licences and permits for full details

Responsible authorities

Responsible authorities are entitled to make representations to the licensing authority in relation to applications under the Licensing Act.
