Local response hub for the Lancaster district
Lancaster City Council is working with voluntary and community organisations to create a local response hub to ensure that help will be provided to our district’s most vulnerable residents during the coronavirus crisis.
In the first instance Lancaster City Council will be making contact with local residents it believes may be categorised as ‘extremely vulnerable’. Please be reassured that if Lancaster City Council contacts you, you will not be asked for any personal information.
If you are concerned that you, or a neighbour, family member or friend will struggle during this time please call us on 01524 582000 and we will support you and direct you to the help you need. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday - 10am to 3pm.
If you are unable to contact us by telephone, there is also an online registration system for those who need additional assistance. This is free and is available at www.gov.uk/coronavirus-extremely-vulnerable
Additionally, there are already a number of local organisations that are offering support to local people in need. If you or your group would like to get involved with the coronavirus response, please contact Lancaster District CVS via their Volunteer Registration Form.
