Love Parks Week

Parks matter to us all.

That’s why we work every day to protect and improve them. Keep Britain Tidy celebrate the very best green spaces through their international Green Flag Award and People’s Choice vote.

But because parks are so important, we take a week each year to really showcase them.

For this year's Love Parks Week, which is taking place from July 26 - August 4 2019, we are encouraging everyone to get out and enjoy their favourite park. By using and celebrating your local park, you are helping us to protect them for future generations.

To celebrate Love Parks Week we're hosting a number of volunteer events from litter picking, weeding and gardening alongside our wonderful Friend's groups.
If you would like to join us, just turn up on the day for the events which will take place between 10am-noon.
Ryelands Park (July 26) – meet at the front of Ryelands House
Happy Mount Park (July 29) – meet by the Childrens Play Area
Regent Park ( July 30) - meet at the Friends Garden
