Food Safety Training
Lancaster City Council in conjunction with Lancaster and Morecambe College are pleased to be able to provide fully funded (free) Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 Allergen Awareness for people who live or work in the Lancaster and Morecambe district.
A minimum requirement of Level 2 Training is essential for all food handlers who prepare or handle high risk food. Food Business Operators can demonstrate compliance with their legal duties if staff are suitably trained and hold this qualification. It is recommended that Level 2 training is repeated every 3 years to maintain knowledge and keep abreast of latest developments.
