Connecting Communities programme
Over the last 18 months the city council, along with its partners organisations, have been working hard to bring people together and to support communities.
Community Support Network Calls
An opportunity to come along and connect with Lancaster City Council.
These monthly online meetings provide a space for communities to connect with the council and with each other. We will look to discuss matters that are important to you and to hear your thoughts about your area and how we can help your community to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Come along and join us every month:
• Lancaster Community Support Network
• Parish and Rural Support Network
• Morecambe Community Support Network
If you would like to attend, please email: communityconnectors@lancaster.gov.uk
Communities Together
Join our Communities Together group, which meets every two months. The group provides community members and representatives of key agencies a space to come together, build relationships and share experiences and knowledge with a view to improving community cohesion.
If you are interested in attending, please email: communitiestogether@lancaster.gov.uk
Community Conversations
‘Communities Together’: A series of Community Conversations, hosted by Lancaster City Council and its partners in health and the voluntary/community sector, to support wellbeing and community building in our district.
For more details about what's coming up, contact communityconnectors@lancaster.gov.uk.
Community Engagement Events
If you are hosting a Community Engagement Event or a Community Conversation, our Community Connectors Team would love to hear about it. You can advertise your event and inform us of any findings from your conversations by visiting our new website KeepConnected.
Your Community Connector team are here to support you and help to connect you with the local services you need within the council as a resident, business, community group or individual and make the council more visible.
